weight loss update

I had first official netball game this morning, which I umpired. I was nervous, but excited. I was offered 3 games, but only took one, as I want to see how I go! The rules have changed slightly in the last 20 years or so since I last umpired, so should be interesting. Even though I get paid I am not doing it for the money. It will increase my exercise, which will hopefully help with my weight loss. I just have to remember to strap my ankle, and wear sun cream as I forgot today and got a little sunburnt!

It actually went really well, I did miss a few calls, but my mentor was super happy with how I went. I even went and watched the game before my game to watch the umpires, which made me less nervous.

I am still getting my fitness up with my PT, and have been parking further away from work to get some steps in. I have my next session on Sunday (tomorrow)…. so I think I will be a bit sore after the weekend!

So far with my weight loss, I have lost 17.2kgs. I am super proud, although I still have a fair way to go. But as I said I am increasing my exercise so hopefully that will help.

I have had a couple of DEXA scans as well on my weight loss journey. I have had 2 done so far, Jan 5 and Feb 24. In that time I lost 3.6kgs, and a total of 12.5cm over my whole body. 4.4cm off stomach, and 2.2cm off my chest were my best results. I have another scan booked for 8th April… so hopefully have some good results. My weight loss has slowed over the last month, so hopefully I have lost centimeters!
